We visited Llandanwg with two young grandchildren and the cottage was perfect for our needs with the minor issues of a very weak hot water pressure in the kitchen and a very inconsistent shower temperature which meant we could not allow the children to use it. The owner did very kindly warn us of this prior to our visit however, and also very considerately warned us that some building work next door might be a noise concern. This was no problem however as we were fully occupied elsewhere with the many beaches, cafes and walks which can be so easily accessed from the cottage.
We would happily return to Ael Y Don .

Another fantastic week overlooking an ever changing amazing sea view. Bungalow was very clean,tidy and well equipped but a few things needed sorting- broken bedroom drawer, kitchen cupboard door missing and kitchen kick board fell off when we closed the fridge door! Felt a little let down as we were probably the last of the year to stay but still paid a good amount to so. Therefore expected things to be perfect. However, this won’t stop us from returning to this fantastic spot!

Great break, very relaxing environment. Amazing views and sunsets. The accommodation was super clean and all facilities working. We have just booked a return visit for April 24.

Wonderful views, comfortable and well appointed bungalow. Ideally suited my wife and I for a late summer/early autumn break. Perfect location as a base to explore snowdonia national park and return to a beautiful sunset.

Firstly, the view from here is perfect, beautiful sunsets, quiet and so relaxing.
I would call the accommodation a chalet not a bungalow. It was smaller than I expected but overall it was comfortable.
Kitchen has everything needed to be self catering except hot water! No matter what time of day we ran the tap it was cold, dishwasher was very handy.
I enjoy a bath on holiday as we don’t have one at home and again getting a hot bath was a mission.
The garden as others say is not dog escape proof, we bought a wind breaker and put it across in front of our car so they couldn’t get out.
Others have said it’s dirty, I wouldn’t say that. Maybe a bit of dust left here and there but wasn’t an issue to us.
Would I stay again, possibly for the garden views out to sea as they to me was just perfect.

had a wonderful week at Seaview bungalow near Harlech from 3rd of June to the the 10th of June booked to go back next year could not have had a better holiday . Wonderful views nice walks with Dog can't wait till next year to go back

The bungalow was in an excellent location, with stunning sea views ideal location to access the surrounding area, beautiful beach, but the dog beach is not brilliant - but there are plenty of other areas to walk your dog

We had a fantastic stay despite the weather. The bungalow is clean and private. It was wonderful to be by the sea.The train is a bonus and a lovely way to travel to nearby towns and walks. We would definitely like to return.

Fantastic location overlooking the sea with a lovely garden having a raised decked area. Everything was catered for in the bungalow with lots of information given about the area. Very clean and comfortable. A short walk to a beautiful beach. Will definitely be returning.

Exceptional location.Sadly it needs a good deep clean.I spent two days cleaning to remove dead flies ,dirty floors and carpets.The rug is disgusting and the sofas need cleaning. Nice new kitchen but the rest is a little shabby.

A very bijou property with absolutely stunning views of the sea and the Llyn peninsular. We were very lucky to have booked when there was a heat wave so we spent every day at the beach which is only a 10 minute walk away.

I don’t think anyone could ever tire of that view and we spent every evening watching the sunset listening to the sounds oh the waves. I had read the other reviews and was hoping to see dolphins and amazingly we did one evening.

The property itself is very clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. The only issue for us was that the garden isn’t fully enclosed where you park your car, so we had to use a wind break and the bins to block our dog from escaping after rabbits. We would definitely book again though as it was such a special place and in such a great location.

Comfortable and very well equipped bungalow with everything you need. The views from the living room and decking are the best bit, they are stunning by day and the evening sunsets are beautiful. Our second stay here and would happily return.

We found the bungalow a great little place in which to set off to explore Wales. Very good communication from the owner Liz and a lovely location being near to Harlech but away from any main roads. Great view of the sea and some lovely sunsets from the patio area. It’s compact and has everything you need. The garden is nice and simple but I think it could do with a little fence blocking off the driveway and access to the front so if you have a pet they don’t escape .

If you like seascapes, skyscapes and landscapes then this is the place for you. And with sandy, safe, swimming beaches nearby what better way to both exercise and relax. This lovely, well equipped chalet bungalow has a picturesque garden and is a little gem.

We had a great stay at the bungalow with lovely walks from the door and great beaches nearby. It was great to sit on the deck each evening enjoying the amazing sea view. We also used the train to go to Barmouth & Cricceith, we only used the car once to go to Porthmadog for the Ffestiniog Railway Woodland Wanderer which was a very enjoyable day out. Overall an excellent holiday.

Excellent position for relaxing or exploring the area,and around the coast,very well equipped,with all you need, dolphins ( if lucky enough ) in the bay. .Of an evening the lights across the bay are nice to see,as well as stroll up the beach of an evening towards shell island over sand dunes to the lagoon and back through the field to spot rabbits tales around 40 minuets.Never tire of the view from this bungalow,as well as good roads to canarvon,anglesea.

Well equipped holiday home. Nice location with good view over the sea. Just a couple of issues. Patio door from lounge area was extremely difficult to open or close and hot water in kitchen was no more than a trickle. Would have no problem with going there again.

This is the second week we have spent at this cottage and, once again, were very comfortable and warm despite the cold,windy weather. The cottage is very well appointed with everything you could need for a holiday and is very well positioned above the bay with wonderful views towards the Llyn Peninsula. This is an ideal place for a quiet relaxing holiday and an excellent base for exploring the local sights as well as walking in the hills nearby. Together with the sandy beach at Llandanwg there is everything you could need for a holiday, we are certainly looking forward to returning in the summer.
